Your family will love this adventurous hike in South Mountain Park & Preserve! It is dog & kid friendly, and depending where you start, it is 3-5 miles in length. The area with all of the fun obstacles is called Hidden Valley, and can be accessed via Mormon Trailhead (3.8 miles roundtrip) or Buena Vista Trailhead (4.5 miles roundtrip). We hiked from Buena Vista Trailhead. There is no restroom at the trailhead, and the lot has between 10-15 parking spaces (I didn’t count). If you visit this area,
