Have a photographed the Bittern Lake Ranch House, too many times to count. Here is the story of the house. The land that the house sits on was surveyed in 1893. The Bittern Lake Ranch House was built in 1897 by English aristocrat William Anthony Stoughton. William was born in 1861. His cousin James Mansfield accompanied him from England.
