A Powerball ticket sold in Western Washington missed the jackpot but still won big, according to lottery officials. The Powerball player matched four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000 in the drawing on Saturday, Jan. 3, according to a spokesperson for Washington’s Lottery and the national Powerball website.

Someone in Southport, Indiana, won a $50,000 Powerball ticket. The winning numbers were 18-21-40-53-60 with Powerball 23. Claim instructions provided.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Dec. 31, drawing are: 11, 18, 21, 24, 38 and the Powerball is 26. The "Power Play" multiplier is 10x.
