Steady rain came down on the hills of Altadena Thursday morning, unleashing streams of muddy water in some areas.

A storm that moved into Northern California overnight is resulting in power outages, flooded roads and downed tree limbs.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning at 1:55 p.m. on Monday valid from Tuesday 4 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. for South Central Oregon Cascades.

In Elysian Park, CHP had to block off the connector between the 5 Freeway south and the 110 due to a rockslide during the New Year's Day storm.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A major snowstorm is enveloping the Tri-State area, with the worst already beginning to strike parts of the area Friday evening, and will continue into early Saturday. Parts of the Tri-State area will be on track to receive around a foot of snow if the heaviest bands deliver on their potential.
